Today is National Doughnut Day!
Did you know that National Doughnut Day has a charitable origin? The day was established by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the organization's 'Donut Lassies', women who traveled to France to serve donuts and other snacks to soldiers during World War I.
Today we remember and honor all those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Happy Memorial Day from the CDKF!
